(Patria) - Sarajevo police arrested a man today suspected of drug dealing, and found 6.9 kilograms of drugs in searches.
Police officers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Sarajevo Canton, under the supervision of the prosecutor of the Sarajevo Canton Prosecutor's Office and in cooperation with the Intelligence Security Agency of BiH, carried out an operation codenamed "Sleeper" this afternoon, with the aim of documenting criminal offenses of unauthorized trafficking of narcotic drugs.
During searches in the area of the Centar municipality, it was announced by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Sarajevo Canton, a PVC package containing a brown substance, which by its appearance resembles a narcotic drug, with a gross mass of about 6,900 grams, was found and seized.
A man, H.T., born in 1959 in Tutin (Serbia), residing in Sarajevo, was arrested on suspicion of committing the criminal offense of unauthorized production and trafficking of narcotic drugs.
He was handed over to the detention facility of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Sarajevo Canton, and police officers of the Criminal Police Sector continue to work on this case.
