Sarajevo: One person arrested, narcotics found

On 03/12/2023 at 9:30 PM in Bulevar Mimar Sinana street, Novi Grad municipality Sarajevo, police officers of the Novi Grad Police Department searched a person M.A., born in 1990 in Sarajevo, where he resides.

During the search, a certain amount of dry herbal matter resembling the narcotic drug marijuana, a certain amount of substance resembling the narcotic drug speed, and one box with tablets resembling the narcotic drug ecstasy were found and seized from him.

Due to the existence of grounds for suspicion that he committed the criminal offense of possession and enabling the use of narcotic drugs, M.A. was deprived of his liberty and handed over to the detention facilities for detained persons of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Sarajevo Canton.

The duty prosecutor of the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office of Sarajevo Canton was informed, and police officers are continuing the criminal investigation of the suspect.
