Sarajevo: Adnan Salčin, son of war hero Ramiz Salčin, killed!

Shortly after 8 PM, the investigation at Mojmilo was completed. The body of the murdered Adnan Salčin was removed from the vehicle around 6:40 PM, and the vehicle was then taken for further examination, reports the Patria news agency.

Around 4 PM in the Sarajevo neighborhood of Mojmilo, a shooting occurred in which one person was killed, confirmed to the Patria news agency by the Operations Center of the Sarajevo Canton Ministry of Interior.

As reported by a Patria reporter at the scene, Adnan Salčin, son of war hero Ramiz Salčin, was killed, and the murder took place near the SOS Children's Village.

- It is a young man A.S. (born 1989). We received a report of the shooting at Mojmilo at 4:08 PM from citizens who heard the shots. Our teams at the intersection of X Transferzala and Hermana Gmeniera streets found a passenger vehicle, a Lancia with Italian license plates. Doctors could only confirm death. Our officers are taking all actions to shed light on this act - said Nefić.

He also stated that, according to the information available to him, only the murdered young man was in the vehicle.

For now, the police do not have information on whether there was one or more attackers. The investigation is being led by the duty prosecutor of the Sarajevo Canton Prosecutor's Office. Traffic on this street has been suspended due to the investigation, and the investigative team arrived at the scene around 5:20 PM.

A large number of police officers and an ambulance team are at the scene. Also, a large number of Adnan's friends and citizens have gathered.

Among them is the girlfriend of the murdered young man, in shock. She told a Patria reporter that citizens told her they saw another car stop next to his, from which shots were fired. According to witnesses, that car, which sped away from the murder scene at high speed, reportedly contained several people.
