Sarajevo: Injured 32-year-old found in car, police searching for attacker

At 3:40 this morning, the Third Police Station was notified that a firearm was used in Nusreta Prohića Street, Novi Grad Sarajevo municipality, the Ministry of Interior of the Sarajevo Canton announced, the news agency Patria reports.

Upon arriving at the scene, in a passenger motor vehicle VW Golf 3, G.A., born in 1984 in Sarajevo, where he resides, was found injured by gunfire.

He received medical assistance at the University Clinical Center Sarajevo, where doctors diagnosed severe, life-threatening bodily injuries and he was kept at the Neurosurgery Clinic for further treatment.

The prosecutor of the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office in Sarajevo was informed about the incident. The scene investigation was conducted by police officers of the Ministry of Interior of the Sarajevo Canton. Work continues on shedding light on the aforementioned criminal offense and finding the perpetrator, whose identity is known to the police officers.
