Sarajevo: Police subdue armed man near Historical Museum

(Patria) - Sarajevo police officers today subdued a man near the Historical Museum who was carrying two cold weapons.

This information was confirmed to Faktor by the spokesperson of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Sarajevo Canton, Mersiha Novalić.

- During regular police activities, officers noticed a knife on a man near the Historical Museum.

They attempted to stop and identify him, but he began to resist, so they used force to subdue and disarm him - Novalić said.

The man was arrested for the criminal offense under Article 358 of the Criminal Code of FBiH - preventing an official person from performing an official act.
