Sarajevo pays tribute to the victims and murdered children of Prijedor

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The AntiDayton Movement today installed an installation in Veliki park on the occasion of the Day of White Ribbons and the 102 murdered children of Prijedor. The name and surname of each murdered child were placed on 102 cardboard cutouts in the shape of a child.

"Today we remembered the 102 murdered children of Prijedor, but also presented to the public for the first time, by name, picture, and verdict, all the war criminals convicted for crimes in Prijedor. We presented 65 profiles of war criminals, three of whom died during the trials. A total of over 850 years in prison has been sentenced for Prijedor," the Movement stated. 

There is still no memorial for the murdered children of Prijedor in Prijedor. 

The Day of White Ribbons will be marked in that city for the ninth year in a row, and flowers will be laid on the city square for the 102 murdered children.
