Sarajevo: Audi 6 deliberately set on fire, owner extinguished the blaze himself

In the early morning hours of August 10th, around 05:30 AM, the First Police Administration was notified that a fire had occurred on a passenger motor vehicle, an "Audi 6", owned by H.E. from Sarajevo, in Škaljin sokak street.

The fire was extinguished by the owner. No one was injured in the incident, while material damage occurred to the vehicle, writes the Patria News Agency.

The prosecutor of the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office in Sarajevo was informed, and the investigation was carried out by police officers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Sarajevo Canton and a court expert from PPZ. The conducted investigation concluded that the fire was caused by the use of open flame by an unknown person.

Police officers are continuing their work to shed light on and document the mentioned criminal offense, and to identify and locate the perpetrator.
