Sarajevo: FUP arrests two persons, five kilograms of speed found in car

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Police officers of the Federal Administration today, taking measures and actions within their jurisdiction, under the supervision of the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office of Sarajevo Canton, in the municipality of Novi Grad, deprived of liberty two persons from the Zenica-Doboj Canton area with initials S.E. (1981) and F.G. (1987), in connection with the criminal offense of "Unauthorized production and placing on the market of narcotic drugs" under Article 238 of the Criminal Law of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the FUP announced.

These are persons previously known to police authorities and convicted for the same criminal offenses.

As part of the mentioned activities, and by order of the Municipal Court in Sarajevo, a search was conducted of the passenger car used by the suspects, during which they found and seized approximately 5 kg of an unknown substance that by its appearance resembles the narcotic drug "speed".

The arrested persons will be criminally processed in the official premises of the Federal Police Administration, and within the legal deadline will be handed over with a Report on the committed criminal offense to the further jurisdiction of the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office of Sarajevo Canton.
