The Faculty of Criminalistics, Criminology and Security Studies and the Max Planck Institute for Foreign and International Criminal Law in Freiburg are organizing an international conference in Sarajevo, which will be attended by more than thirty experts from law and other faculties in the region, who will present the current state of prison systems in their countries, reports the Patria news agency.
The conference will be held at the Faculty of Criminalistics, Criminology and Security Studies of the University of Sarajevo from September 17 to 19 this year, with financial support from the Max Planck Society.
The Max Planck Partner Group was jointly established by the Max Planck Institute for Foreign and International Criminal Law and the Faculty of Law in Zagreb in 2013, based on a decision by the Max Planck Society - the most successful German scientific organization. Since then, MPPG has been conducting scientific research and connecting a regional network of experts in the field of criminology and criminal justice.
Participation in the Conference must be announced via email: [email protected]. For details of the program, visit www.fkn.unsa.ba.
