Cooperation with Sweden: RS MoI Arrests Five People for Selling Weapons to Muslim Brotherhood

The Directorate for Combating Terrorism and Extremism of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republika Srpska, in cooperation with the Police of the Kingdom of Sweden, is conducting an international operational action codenamed “Wolf RS” aimed at preventing arms trafficking, it was announced from the RS MoI, reports the Patria News Agency. 

On the order of the BiH Prosecutor's Office, searches were carried out today at seven locations in the Republika Srpska (Bosanska Gradiška and Laktaši), and five people were arrested. One person was previously arrested in Sweden. Currently, two individuals are not available to the police. A large quantity of arms, weapons, tools, and other military equipment was found during the searches.

The arrested individuals are suspected of smuggling weapons from BiH to Sweden, where they resold them to the Muslim Brotherhood organization, reports Birn.
