The Police of Republika Srpska confirmed that they have solved the murder of Miroslav Lazarević, which was committed on the night from Saturday to Sunday in East Novo Sarajevo. Two persons were arrested after the commission of the criminal offense in the area of Sarajevo, Patria reports.
The car with the rifle used to commit the murder was set on fire in the area of Novo Sarajevo around 2 a.m., after which they fled.
The Ministry of Interior of the Sarajevo Canton arrested two individuals, Aleksandar Bulatović (30) from East Sarajevo and Saša Vidović (34), half an hour later, after which they were handed over to the Ministry of Interior of Republika Srpska. According to information, they were handed over to the competent prosecutor's office.
The motive for this murder is self-interest, and the arrested individuals killed Lazarević for a certain amount of money or other benefit.
The connection with the mastermind has not yet been clarified.
The Ministry of Interior of Republika Srpska stated that these are members of organized criminal groups and can be linked to criminal acts that have been occurring recently in the region.
Cooperation was also established with members of the Ministry of Interior of Serbia.
