Cooperation between police agencies of BiH and Serbia: SIPA arrested three people, two kilograms of drugs seized

(Patria) - Members of the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) arrested three people yesterday as part of an operational action codenamed "Luka", due to the existence of grounds for suspicion that they committed the criminal offenses of "Organized Crime" and "Unauthorized Trafficking of Narcotic Drugs" prescribed by the Criminal Code of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Two kilograms of a powdery substance resembling cocaine, a passenger motor vehicle, and other items that may serve as evidence that the aforementioned criminal offenses were committed were discovered and temporarily seized from the apprehended individuals, SIPA announced.

The individuals will be handed over to the further jurisdiction of the Prosecutor's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina, under whose supervision the activities in the field were carried out, after criminal processing and questioning as suspects.

During the implementation of the operational action "Luka", cooperation was established with the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Serbia, the Intelligence-Security Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and the ministries of internal affairs of Republika Srpska and Canton Sarajevo.
