Traffic accidents in BiH claim 292 lives

The Federal Police Administration states that in 2014, 27,844 traffic accidents occurred on roads in the Federation of BiH, in which 161 people died, while the number of seriously injured was 1,022, and lightly injured 5,856 people, reports the Patria news agency.

According to official data, on the roads of the FBiH from 2005 to 2015, over 270,000 traffic accidents were recorded, in which 1,940 people died.

In the Republika Srpska last year, 131 people died. The Public Relations Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the RS confirmed that in the territory of the RS last year, 8,581 traffic accidents occurred, in which 131 people were killed. Incidentally, in the RS from 2005 to 2015, in about 97,000 traffic accidents, a total of 1,649 people died.
