(Patria) - On Saturday evening around 9:50 PM, a traffic accident occurred on the road of Rakovička cesta, Ilidža municipality. The accident involved a collision between a "BMW" passenger vehicle driven by driver S.O., born in 2004, a "Mercedes" passenger vehicle driven by driver Š.K., born in 1964 from Fojnica, and a "Pasat" passenger vehicle driven by M.D., born in 1985 from Hadžići.
In this traffic accident, S.Z., born in 2004, a passenger from the BMW, sustained severe life-threatening injuries and was admitted for treatment at the Neurosurgery Clinic - Intensive Care Department of KCUS.
A minor child from another car was also injured but was released for home treatment.
The drivers of the BMW and Pasat, as well as a passenger from the Pasat, sustained minor physical injuries in this traffic accident.
The investigation was led by the duty prosecutor of the Sarajevo Canton Prosecutor's Office.
On 03/31/2024, at 5:00 AM, driver S.O. of the BMW was arrested on suspicion of committing the criminal offense of "Serious Offenses Against Public Traffic Safety" and was handed over to the detention facilities of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Sarajevo Canton.
