Traffic accident near Mostar: Motorcyclist went off the road and died

(Patria) - A serious traffic accident occurred this evening on the Mostar - Čitluk road, in the village of Sretnice, in which a motorcyclist died.

MUP HNK spokesperson Ilijana Miloš confirmed that the accident was reported around 6:15 PM.

The accident occurred when a Honda motorcycle went off the road.

The driver of the motorcycle, J.V. (1977), died as a result, while the passenger A.Č. sustained injuries of an undetermined degree.

The injured person was transported to the Mostar hospital for further treatment.

Emergency services intervened on the scene, and traffic on this section was completely suspended until 7:45 PM, causing major traffic jams.

More information about the causes and circumstances that led to the accident will be known after the investigation is concluded.
