Sanctions and arms embargo on Israel the only way to prevent genocide in Gaza

(Patria) - The introduction of economic sanctions and an arms embargo on Israel is the only way to prevent genocide in Gaza.

This was assessed by the UN Special Rapporteur for Palestine Francesca Albanese in a post on X.

Albanese shared on the social network a post by UN Secretary-General António Guterres, who met with Palestinians whose families were killed in Gaza.

The Permanent Mission of Palestine to the UN gathered a Palestinian group of ten people on Thursday who lost family members in Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip. These individuals met with Guterres and members of the UN Security Council.
