Suicide in Banja Luka: What Č.B. wrote in his farewell letter

Č. B. (61), a resident of the Debeljaci settlement, killed himself yesterday by jumping into the Vrbas River near the Banja Luka Psychiatric Clinic, reports ATV, as carried by the Patria news agency.

He left a farewell letter, a phone, and a jacket on the riverbank. He was ill and stated in the letter that this was the reason for the suicide, as he did not want to burden his family.

The Banja Luka Public Security Center, citing his initials, announced that he jumped into the Vrbas around 6:50 a.m.

– His body was found and recovered around 9:30 a.m. near the “Sidro” restaurant in the Ada settlement. An examination of the body determined that there were no signs of violence and that it was a case of suicide by drowning – the police said.
