Salihović and all heads of departments meet with Stanić: SIPA and Prosecutor's Office are important for establishing the rule of law

The highest delegation of the BiH Prosecutor's Office, Chief Prosecutor Goran Salihović and all heads of departments and units of the BiH Prosecutor's Office, visited the newly appointed director of SIPA, Perica Stanić, and held an initial meeting, at which mutual support of these institutions was expressed, in their joint mission - the efficient prosecution of all criminal offenses within the jurisdiction of these two institutions, reports the Patria News Agency.

The BiH Prosecutor's Office and SIPA have daily operational cooperation, and hundreds of operational and investigative activities are carried out every month in the fight against organized crime, war crimes, terrorism, corruption, money laundering and financial crime, and all other criminal offenses within the jurisdiction of these institutions.

The BiH Prosecutor's Office and SIPA are the bearers of the fight against serious criminal offenses and are of key importance for establishing the rule of law and creating a peaceful and secure environment for the lives of all citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

In the past 12 years, through implemented activities and the prosecution of hundreds of suspects, the two institutions have shown that they are making great efforts in the fight for the rule of law, that they are the bearers of activities in the fight against the most serious forms of crime, and that the citizens of BiH trust these institutions. Furthermore, good and dynamic cooperation is being realized with partner agencies in the region, Europe, and around the world in the fight against cross-border crime.

At the meeting, it was agreed that operational meetings will be held in the coming period between the BiH Prosecutor's Office and SIPA regarding the activities of individual departments and units, and that efforts will be made to achieve even better results in the fight against all forms of criminal offenses in the coming year.

The two institutions will continue to work intensively on creating a safer environment for the lives of all citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina, on our country's path towards European integration.
