Small Business Fair in Tuzla

The Department for Development, Entrepreneurship and Social Activities of the Tuzla Municipality is launching a unique project in Bosnia and Herzegovina this year, aimed at educating and providing business ideas to unemployed, laid-off or disenfranchised workers, who will, through the Small Business Fair, gain the necessary knowledge and instructions to start their own business without large investments, reports the Patria news agency. The Small Business Fair will be a kind of showcase of business ideas for businesses that do not require large investments and can most often be conducted from home or without major spatial and technical prerequisites.

For the majority of unemployed young people, laid-off and disenfranchised workers who are losing hope that the system will provide them with a job and livelihood, the Small Business Fair can be a new perspective in which they will find a business idea for themselves and their families.

The Small Business Fair is planned to take place in three program parts. The first will be a presentation part, where those who have already established themselves in small business will present their products. The second will be an educational part, where a series of workshops and lectures on individual small businesses will be held, where citizens can gain insight into the idea and its realization.

Within this program, the legal regulations necessary for registering a small business, as well as programs of possible financial incentives, will also be presented.

The third program part is a unique presentation of technical and material resources for the realization of some small businesses.

The Department for Development, Entrepreneurship and Social Activities aims to realize and develop the Small Business Fair in Tuzla as a Bosnian-Herzegovinian and even regional event, from which the citizens whose livelihood is endangered will benefit the most, and who, through insight into new ideas and knowledge, can find a path to their own business.

The first Small Business Fair in Tuzla is planned to be held in the spring.
