(Patria) - The administration of US President Donald Trump is working on a plan for the permanent relocation of as many as one million Palestinians from the Gaza Strip to Libya.
NBC News reported yesterday, citing people familiar with the matter, Reuters reports.
Citing two people with direct knowledge and a former US official, NBC also reported that the plan is being considered seriously enough that the US has discussed it with the Libyan leadership.
In exchange for relocating the Palestinians, the US administration would return billions of dollars to Libya that the US froze more than a decade ago, NBC reported, citing the same three people.
