(Patria) - The US has begun deploying additional military forces in the Middle East region before Iran responds to Israeli attacks on Iranian territory, AP reported, citing unnamed US officials.
The officials stated that the US Navy has directed the destroyer Thomas Hudner toward the eastern Mediterranean and that another destroyer has been ordered to "move forward" to be available if the White House requests its action, TASS reported.
Sources said a meeting was held in Washington between US President Donald Trump and members of the US National Security Council.
