The Supervisory Board, at the proposal of the Management of JP Sarajevo, made a decision on the new price of the Trebević cable car ticket.

The price of a round-trip ticket is now 30 KM, and a one-way ticket is 20 KM. Previously, a round-trip ticket cost 20 KM, and a one-way ticket cost 15 KM.

Ticket prices for BiH citizens remain the same, a round-trip ticket with a discount included is 6 KM, and one-way tickets with a discount included are 4 KM.

Bakir Hadžiomerović, a former journalist who paid great attention to the former mayor of Sarajevo, Abdulah Skaka, is at the head of JP Sarajevo. In 2018, he wrote columns and columns, precisely regarding ticket prices.

"However, on the eve of the official opening of the cable car, the city leaders managed to create confusion about ticket prices. As usual, they chose the worst of all available options. Thus, Mayor Skaka triumphantly announced that tourists would pay more for tickets than, as he said, 'citizens'. Besides being unsustainably discriminatory and therefore legally challengeable, Skaka's proposal will hardly survive the simplest tests," wrote journalist Hadžiomerović, who is now the director who further increased ticket prices for foreign nationals.

It is one thing to be a journalist, and clearly another to hold the position of director of a public company; then your journalistic instinct simply evaporates.

What Hadžiomerović previously told Skaka

But the public remembers, so now it asks director Hadžiomerović why he did not abolish the discriminatory practice, and whether he is afraid of lawsuits, because if the decision to set the ticket price for foreign nationals at 20 KM is challengeable, then by analogy it is easily concluded that the price of 30 KM is even more 'challengeable'.

We are surprised that Hadžiomerović did not correct the discrimination, although he was appointed to the position in November 2021. But, he didn't!?

Therefore, there is no need for excessive comments, except to ask Hadžiomerović to answer the questions he once posed to Skaka.

"How much will Skaka's ticket cost a casual traveler who spent the entire war in Sarajevo, and now lives abroad and has a 'foreign' passport?

Can the mayor then answer the question of whether there are tourists on the cable car if BiH citizens temporarily working abroad, with the corresponding guest worker status, are sitting there? What about the citizens of East Sarajevo in the end? Are they just 'easterners' for Skaka or fellow citizens with whom he shares the same Trebević...?"

Skaka did not answer, and it seems Hadžiomerović won't either!

The easiest way to beat up guest workers with someone else's ticket and collect political points.
