USA: 15-year-old kills five people, including three children

(Patria) - Five people were killed in a massacre at a house near Seattle, and a 15-year-old boy is suspected of the murders, authorities in the state of Washington announced today. Two adults and three children lost their lives in the shooting, and one girl was injured, police said.

Sheriff's department spokesperson Mike Mellis told reporters at the scene that the suspect was apprehended without incident. The motive for the crime is not yet known, nor is it known if all the individuals in this tragic event are related.

Sheriff's deputies received multiple calls about a shooting at a house in Fall City, about 16 kilometers east of Seattle. Before medical personnel arrived at the scene, the victims received first aid from their neighbor.

The suspected 15-year-old was taken to juvenile detention, and is expected to appear in court on Tuesday or Wednesday.
