Ambush in East Sarajevo: Ostojić killed as soon as he got out of the vehicle

(Patria) - Miloš Ostojić was killed last night in Lukavica, East Sarajevo. According to unofficial information, he was wounded in front of the "Sparta" club, and soon died from his injuries at the Serbia Hospital, confirmed by the RS Ministry of Internal Affairs.

This was a classic ambush; the killer was allegedly waiting for him to arrive, and as soon as he got out of the vehicle, he shot him. Ostojić's family owns several companies, as well as the well-known bakeries "Zlatno zrno" (Golden Grain). The police have not yet commented on this murder.

The RS Ministry of Internal Affairs announced that police officers of the Administration for Organized and Serious Crime of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republika Srpska, in cooperation with the Police Administration of East Sarajevo, and under the supervision of the prosecutor of the Republican Public Prosecutor's Office of the Republika Srpska, are undertaking operational and investigative measures and actions to shed light on all circumstances and determine the identity of the person who committed the criminal offense of "Serious Murder" of a person with initials M.O. (1989) from East Sarajevo last night in East Sarajevo.

- An unknown person last night, on January 1, 2019, around 11:05 PM, in Karađorđeva Street in East New Sarajevo, used a firearm to inflict serious bodily injuries on a person with initials M.O., who was then transported to the Public Health Institution Serbia Hospital, where he died shortly thereafter - the RS Ministry of Internal Affairs announced.
