Sabahudin Muranović Muran to portrait visitors at his exhibition

The MOEBIUS Comic School from Prijepolje, on Thursday, October 8th at 6 PM at the Mellain Center in Ilidža, Sarajevo, is organizing an exhibition of the renowned Serbian comic author, illustrator, and caricaturist Sabahudin Muranović Muran, reports the Patria News Agency.

 

With this exhibition, Muranović will present himself to the Sarajevo audience and lovers of comic art.

Muranović, originally from Prijepolje, is moving to Sarajevo where he will continue his work. In his hometown, he is the founder of the MOEBIUS comic school and a recipient of numerous awards and recognitions at international comic festivals. He is also a professional men's hairdresser. It is interesting that he combines these two professions, finding inspiration for his comic characters in his clients.

The exhibition will feature his oil paintings, watercolors, graphics, and original comic pages. Visitors will have the opportunity to be portrayed as part of the exhibition, with Muran demonstrating the speed of portraiture for which he is known in Serbia.
