BiH House of Representatives to discuss Budget for 2020 with half a year delay

(Patria) - The House of Representatives of the BiH Parliamentary Assembly is expected to discuss the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina's request for the Bill on the Budget of BiH institutions and international obligations for 2020 to be considered under an urgent procedure at today's session.

It is still unclear under which procedure the Budget of BiH institutions will be considered, and we have already entered the seventh month with temporary financing. Borjana Krišto stated that the HDZ Caucus will propose that the budget be considered under the regular procedure, because the BiH Presidency violated the Financing Law and the Budget Law, as they were not supposed to touch or intervene in matters that are not within the jurisdiction of the BiH Presidency as the proposer. On the other hand, SDA stated that the Budget should be adopted as soon as possible.

The House of Representatives is also expected to consider the request of MPs: Nikola Lovrinović, Predrag Kožul, Borjana Krišto, Darijana Filipović, Mijo Matanović, Adil Osmanović, Safet Softić, Alma Čolo, Šemsudin Dedić, Halid Genjac, Nermin Mandra, Šemsudin Mehmedović, Edin Mušić, and Denis Zvizdić for the urgent procedure consideration of the Bill on Amendments to the Election Law of BiH, which relates to the elections in Mostar.

On the agenda is also the Bill on the Election of Judges of the Constitutional Court of BiH, previously elected by the President of the European Court of Human Rights, proposed by MPs: Nebojša Radmanović, Snježana Novaković-Bursać, Nenad Stevandić, Nenad Nešić, Jakov Galić, Obren Petrović, Dragan Bogdanić, Sanja Vulić, Ljubica Miljanović, Borjana Krišto, Nikola Lovrinović, Mijo Matanović, Predrag Kožul, and Darijana Filipović, with the Opinion of the Constitutional and Legal Affairs Committee, which is negative.
