Ryabkov: Russia has other advanced weapons besides Oreshnik

(Patria) - Russia also possesses other modern weapons besides Oreshnik, said Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov, TASS reported.

"Oreshnik - yes, but we have other (weapons). We haven't wasted time," Ryabkov said in an interview with the Rossiya-1 television channel.

"I cannot dwell on what I should not, but we have such weapons," he said when asked to share details.

Commenting on the potential deployment of Russian weapons to new regions, Ryabkov said: "It would be absolutely wrong, irresponsible of me to disclose specific geographic locations."

"We always have many options on the table and we never rule anything out for ourselves," he added.

Russia last year used its newest intermediate-range ballistic missile, Oreshnik, in an attack on the Ukrainian arms factory Yuzhmash in Dnipro - formerly known as Dnipropetrovsk.
