(Patria) - Hollywood star and Oscar winner Russell Crowe (59) has said he is considering ending his acting career after 40 years in the industry, writes the Daily Mail.
Crowe spoke about this at the 57th Karlovy Vary International Film Festival in the Czech Republic.
- You stand in front of the mirror and say to yourself: "Who the hell is this?" I am now in that period - Crowe said.
He cited 85-year-old director Ridley Scott, who is still working, as an example.
- I will take Ridley Scott as my role model - he is still working and discovering new trends. Either I will be like that, or I will simply stop and you will never hear from me again.
I haven't decided yet what it will be. These are two very valid choices - Crowe explained, as reported by Index.hr.
Russell Crowe achieved his greatest fame with his role in the 2000 film Gladiator, for which he also received an Oscar.
He is known for numerous films such as Man of Steel, A Beautiful Mind, Robin Hood, Les Miserables, and others.
