(Patria) - Russian air defense units destroyed 26 Ukrainian drones over the Crimean peninsula on Friday, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced on Telegram, Reuters reported.
The ministry's statement indicated that the interceptions took place between 8:30 PM and 10:30 PM.
Separately, Vladimir Saldo, the Russian-appointed governor of a part of the southern Kherson region, reported on Telegram that Russian air defense units shot down at least 15 aerial targets near the city of Henichesk.
Saldo stated that fragments of the downed objects fell to the ground. There were no immediate reports of damage or casualties in either case.
