Russian Baltic port resumes crude oil loading after attack

(Patria) - Russia's key Baltic port of Ust-Luga has resumed crude oil loading after several days of disruptions due to multiple Ukrainian drone attacks, Bloomberg News reported on Sunday.

Jewel, an Aframax-class vessel, began loading cargo on Saturday, according to the report, citing shipping information seen by Bloomberg, Reuters reported late on Saturday.

Ukrainian drones attacked Russia's Baltic port of Ust-Luga for the fifth time in ten days at the end of March, and industry sources told Reuters that the drones hit crude oil loading facilities operated by Russian pipeline monopoly Transneft.

At least 40% of Russia's oil export capacity has been disrupted by drone attacks, an attack on a major pipeline, and the seizure of tankers, Reuters reported last month, citing calculations based on market data.
