(Patria) - Moscow is ready to continue contacts with Washington that began at the meeting in Anchorage, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said in an interview with TASS.
When asked whether Russia-US negotiations are still possible nearly a year after the meeting in Anchorage, Alaska, she answered positively, adding that "no one on either side has walked away" from the talks.
"We would like this dialogue to be more intensive and effective, and there are all possibilities for that."
"For our part, we are ready to work, so, of course, the work continues," Zakharova said.
