(Patria) - Russia has developed its own mRNA cancer vaccine, which will be distributed to patients free of charge, said the Director General of the Radiological Medical Research Center of the Ministry of Health of Russia Andrey Kaprin to Radio Russia.
The vaccine was developed in cooperation with several research centers, TASS reported.
It is planned to be released in early 2025.
Earlier, the director of the National Research Center for Epidemiology and Microbiology Gamaleya Alexander Gintsburg told TASS that preclinical trials of the vaccine have shown that it suppresses tumor development and potential metastases.
