Russia strongly condemns US sanctions against Dodik

Russia condemns the US Treasury Department's sanctions against the President of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, according to a statement published on the website of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, writes Patria.

- We strongly condemn this tendentious step. We consider it another proof of the frantic attempts of the outgoing administration of Barack Obama to artificially complicate further international efforts in post-conflict resolution in the Balkans and other regions - the statement of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs states.

The US Treasury Department announced on Tuesday that the President of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, has been placed on the sanctions list.
