SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The agreement on Ukrainian grain exports may not be extended after its expiration, because nothing has been done so far to enable Russian exports of grain and fertilizers, said Russia's Permanent Representative to the UN, Vasily Nebenzya.
- The agreement was concluded for four months, which means it expires in November. The agreement should otherwise be extended. Given the results, or rather, the lack of results regarding Russian exports within the framework of the agreement, I do not rule out anything - the Russian diplomat told reporters on Tuesday, TASS reports.
He also stated that Moscow "wants to see how the Russian part of the agreement is being implemented".
Nebenzya said that Russian grain was not exported as part of this agreement, nor was it the case with the export of Russian fertilizer, the Russian agency states.
The agreement, which aims to help with the export of food and fertilizers to world markets, was signed on July 22 in Istanbul.
