Miners go home: No coal production until our demands are met

(Patria) - Miners who have been protesting in front of the FBiH Government building since yesterday morning have decided to go home. They announced that they are not giving up on their demands, but also that there will be no coal production until they are met.

The miners started packing and preparing to leave.

“We were exposed to extremely difficult conditions. We held a meeting late last night and made the decision to wait until 3 PM today for a response to our demands. If it doesn't happen, we will withdraw to the mines. And it didn't happen. We have an active workers' disobedience since Tuesday, and it will last until all the demands we presented to the FBiH Government are agreed upon. There will be no coal production in the mines that are part of the concern,” said miners' representative Sinan Husić, reports N1.
