Deadline for filing tax returns extended to April 15

(Patria) - In accordance with the recommendations of the Crisis Staff of the Federal Ministry of Health, and in order to implement occupational safety measures and curb the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19), the Tax Administration of the Federation of BiH informs taxpayers-citizens not to come to the organizational units of the Administration without need or invitation. If they do come, they are required to stay in the premises for as short a time as possible, and especially to avoid standing in lines.

The Tax Administration of the Federation of BiH will ensure a minimum number of employees for working with clients and urgent matters related to deadlines, and clients will be received between 8:00 AM and 12:00 PM.

The Tax Administration of the Federation of BiH calls on taxpayers-citizens to submit tax returns with the prescribed documentation by mail to the addresses of the competent organizational units of the Tax Administration of the Federation of BiH.

Given that the deadline for submitting tax returns is March 31, 2020, the Tax Administration of the Federation of BiH informs taxpayers-citizens that the deadline for submitting tax returns is extended to April 15, 2020. These measures will be applied as long as the danger of the spread of coronavirus persists.

The Tax Administration of the Federation of BiH has taken preventive hygiene measures to minimize the potential spread of the virus and is monitoring the situation daily and considering possible additional measures, with the aim of protecting employees and taxpayers-citizens. Taxpayers-citizens who come to the premises of the organizational units of the Tax Administration of the Federation of BiH are obliged to adhere to all recommendations of the Crisis Staff of the Federal Ministry of Health, or the crisis staffs of cantonal ministries of health, as well as public health institutes in the Federation of BiH, which are posted in all organizational units of the Tax Administration of the Federation of BiH.
