Rijaset allocated an additional 150,000 euros for aid to the people of Gaza

(Patria) - Efforts of the Islamic Community in Bosnia and Herzegovina to deliver humanitarian aid to the people of Gaza continue.

At the last session of the Rijaset of the Islamic Community in Bosnia and Herzegovina held on March 28, 2024, an additional 150,000 euros were allocated for the continuation of the project of preparing iftars and hot meals for refugees in southern Gaza.

Part of the funds will be allocated to deliver food packages and other necessities through the international organization Human Appeal and the Jordanian state humanitarian organization Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization (JHCO) in improvised refugee camps around the city of Rafah, and before the arrival of Eid.

In addition to other activities and forms of assistance, the Islamic Community in Bosnia and Herzegovina has so far provided over 3.5 million BAM in aid through contributions from its members to support the population of Gaza.
