Islamic Community's Riyaset Signs Scholarship Agreements for Palestinian Students

(Patria) - Scholarship agreements for seven Palestinian students studying at the International University of Sarajevo were signed today at the headquarters of the Islamic Community's Riyaset in Sarajevo. On behalf of the Riyaset, the agreements were signed by Deputy Reis-ul-Ulema Enes-ef. Ljevaković.

He emphasized that supporting education is one of the priorities of the Islamic Community.

– Supporting the educational process, especially the education of students, both in our educational institutions and at various faculties in Bosnia and Herzegovina, is certainly among the top priorities of the Islamic Community – said Ljevaković.

He added that the goal is to help students successfully complete their studies.

– Today we signed agreements with seven Palestinian students at IUS. There is no success on a personal or collective level without science and education – he said.

Ljevaković also expressed expectations regarding the results of their education.

– I hope they will be good students, that they will finish their studies on time, and that they will contribute to the development of the societies in which they will live – Ljevaković conveyed.

Naim Ashraf Mushtaha, a student of international relations and political science, thanked them for their support.

– I came with my colleagues to receive the scholarships. The help is especially important for students coming to this country from Gaza. Thank you for everything – Mushtaha said.
