(Patria) - Two women died today in a traffic accident near Višegrad, as learned by Nezavisne novine.
In this crash, which occurred when a Renault Clio skidded into a canyon, the driver was injured and taken to the Višegrad Health Center.
The traffic accident happened at 12:35 PM on the Višegrad - Vardište main road, in the Višegrad village of Oplava.
After the accident, the coroner determined the deaths of two people.
"These are two female individuals, who were the front passenger and a passenger in the vehicle," a source told Nezavisne.
The Foča Police Department stated that the investigation is being led by the duty prosecutor of the District Public Prosecutor's Office of East Sarajevo.
The Automobile- and Motorcycle Association of Republika Srpska (AMS RS) also announced, confirming the suspension of traffic on this section.
"Traffic is completely suspended on the main road MI-114 Višegrad - Vardište in the village of Oplava, due to a serious traffic accident. A police investigation is underway," stated AMS RS.
