Record budget for the Ministry of Economy of Sarajevo Canton, funds primarily directed to the real sector

(Patria) - The budget of the Ministry of Economy amounts to 61,071,280 KM, which is the largest amount since the existence of this Ministry, with record amounts for economic incentives in the history of Sarajevo Canton, announced Minister Adnan Delić.

Given the negative consequences in the economy caused by the coronavirus pandemic, a grant fund of 21,000,000 KM has been planned to support the economy in order to mitigate the negative effects of the coronavirus.

The four most important items in the budget that include incentive support for the economy in certain amounts are:

- Incentives for agricultural production amounting to 6,100,000 KM

- Incentives for the development of small businesses amounting to 7,000,000 KM

- Fund to support the economy due to the consequences caused by the corona pandemic amounting to 21,000,000 KM

- Infrastructure development and resolution of property-legal relations in business and industrial zones amounting to 6,000,000 KM.

The funds will primarily be allocated to the real sector, for saving jobs, economic entities, and stimulating the economy.

I am encouraged by the fact that we have managed to reorganize priorities and create a draft budget whose items allow for affirmative action, primarily in combating the negative economic consequences of the pandemic, without neglecting the focus on development projects and strengthening economic opportunities in Sarajevo Canton.
