Reisu-l-ulema wrote to ambassadors of several countries due to attacks on Muslims in Montenegro

(Patria) - Following new attacks on Bosniaks and Muslims in Montenegro, the Reisu-l-ulema of the Islamic Community in Bosnia and Herzegovina Husein ef. Kavazović wrote to ambassadors of several countries accredited in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

In the letter sent to the ambassadors of the United States of America, the United Kingdom, the Republic of Turkey, the Federal Republic of Germany, the Italian Republic, the French Republic, and the Russian Federation, the Reisu-l-ulema warns about the long experience of crimes and persecution to which Bosniaks and Muslims in those areas have been exposed, which is why their fear is justified when they see that the same ideologies that were the basis of earlier crimes are returning to the public and political sphere.

The governments of the countries to which the Reisu-l-ulema wrote are asked for a joint reaction and appealed to religious leaders not to spread hatred and intolerance among peoples and citizens with their attitudes and actions.
