Reis Kavazović sends condolence telegram over Notre Dame Cathedral fire

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - We followed the sad event of the fire at Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris with regret, and the tragedy that befell the Catholic Church and the French people also affected all people in Europe and the world, states the condolence telegram sent by the Grand Mufti of the Islamic Community in BiH to the President of the French Bishops' Conference, Eric de Moulins-Beaufort.

"The cultural treasure and symbolism of Notre Dame Cathedral is our common European and human heritage, and therefore its destruction we experience as a shared loss. Your Eminence, on behalf of the Islamic Community in Bosnia and Herzegovina and on my own behalf, please accept once again expressions of our deep condolences and sincere respect in the hope that Notre Dame will soon shine again in all its splendor," stated Reis Kavazović.
