Reis Kavazović: Terrorist act represents a severe moral downfall and a great sin

The Rais al-Ulama of the Islamic Community in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Husein ef. Kavazović, sent a letter of condolences today to the Belgian Ambassador to BiH, H.E. Willem van De Voorde, on the occasion of the terrorist attacks that shook the capital of Belgium, reports the Patria News Agency.

- I was deeply shaken by the news of the terrorist attack that took place today in Brussels, in which many innocent people were killed and wounded - said Rais al-Ulama Kavazović in his letter, adding:

- This terrorist act represents a severe moral downfall and a great sin that cannot be justified by anything. Because the murder of one innocent person is an attack on all of humanity. We most strongly condemn every terrorist attack.

The Islamic Community in BiH, as well as I personally, deeply sympathize with the tragedy that has struck the friendly Belgian people and the Kingdom of Belgium," the Rais al-Ulama's letter concludes.
