Reis Kavazović at Iftar with Businessmen: Give Young People a Chance, They Are Leaving Our Homeland

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The head of the Islamic Community in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Husein ef. Kavazović, organized an iftar for businessmen on Saturday, attended by the Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BiH Denis Zvizdić and the Prime Minister of the FBiH Government Fadil Novalić.

- The Islamic Community is proud to have you as friends and we are proud of what you contribute to the betterment of both our Community and society as a whole - said Reis Kavazović, emphasizing the common commitment to building a better and more peaceful environment in our homeland through cooperation and mutual respect.

- The mission of the Islamic Community, as you know, and as it has been in the past, is now, and God willing, will be in the future, is to call people to good and to suppress what is bad in our society as much as possible - added Reis Kavazović, emphasizing that despite numerous obstacles, the mission must not be abandoned.

In his address to the attendees, Reis Kavazović also touched upon the challenges facing our society and country:

- As much as possible, let's give young people a chance, those who are just finishing university, who are maturing, because today we are facing the fear of people leaving these areas and departing from our homeland - stated Reis Kavazović, also referring to the migrant crisis that our society has recently been facing.

- I hope we will succeed, God willing, in responding to this task as well, and it seems more likely that this issue will be resolved. Most of these unfortunate people who have come to Bosnia and Herzegovina, and who will likely continue to come in the future, are Muslims and come from areas that are unfortunately affected by war - concluded Kavazović, once again appealing for help to the extent that possibilities allow.
