(Patria) - Polling stations for the referendum on changes to the Constitution of Serbia regarding the judiciary closed at 8:00 p.m.
Turnout by 6:00 p.m. was 25.25 percent, it was announced at a press conference of the Republic Electoral Commission.
In the Belgrade region, turnout was 22.88 percent, in Vojvodina 28.63 percent, in the region of Šumadija and Western Serbia 24.59 percent, and in the region of Southern Serbia and Eastern Serbia 23.39 percent.
The referendum vote was monitored by 2,333 domestic and 12 international observers.
