Food queues in Gaza under Israeli attacks

(Patria) - Palestinians in northern Gaza, in addition to the Israeli attacks they are exposed to daily, are also struggling with hunger and a lack of basic living conditions.

Humanitarian organizations are trying to prepare and distribute hot meals, but this is not enough given the scale of people's needs in the Palestinian enclave.

One charity distributed hot meals to displaced Palestinians in the Al-Mawasi area, west of Khan Younis in the Gaza Strip.

At least 18 more Palestinians were killed and several wounded in a series of Israeli airstrikes on Sunday on the war-torn Gaza Strip, medics said.

A medical source said three people were killed in an airstrike on the Shujaiya neighborhood east of Gaza City. Two more people were killed and several wounded in a bombing of a house near the Ain Jalut school in the Zeitoun neighborhood of the same city, he added.

Israeli warplanes also bombed a house in the southern city of Khan Younis, killing eight people, a second medical source said.

Another Palestinian was killed in another attack on a group of civilians in the Qizan Raswan area of Khan Younis.

A Palestinian child was killed and several people wounded in Israeli shelling of a tent housing displaced persons in Al-Mawasi, west of Khan Younis.

Another person was killed and four wounded in shelling in Abasan al-Kabiri, east of Khan Younis.

According to witnesses, Israeli forces continued to demolish residential buildings in northern Rafah in the southern part of the Gaza Strip.

Over the weekend, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu promised to intensify attacks on Gaza as efforts are underway to implement US President Donald Trump's plan to displace Palestinians from the enclave.

More than 50,695 Palestinians have been killed in Gaza in brutal Israeli attacks since October 2023, mostly women and children.

The International Criminal Court issued arrest warrants in November last year for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant, for war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza.
