KS Budget Rebalance for 2021 Before Assembly, New Rules of Procedure, Work Reports

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The Collegium of the Sarajevo Canton Assembly has scheduled the 44th working session of the Assembly for Wednesday, November 3, 2021.

On the agenda of this session will be the rebalance of the KS Budget for 2021, i.e., the Decision on Amendments and Supplements to the Sarajevo Canton Budget along with the Bill on Amendments to the Law on Budget Execution.

In the part of the session foreseen for the consideration of laws, the agenda will include draft laws on supplementing the Law on the Ombudsman's Office and the Law on Amendments to the Law on Cinematography, as well as the Draft Law on Municipal Fees.

The Proposal of the Decision on Amendments to the Decision on Adopting the Restructuring Plan of Healthcare Activities and Reorganization of Healthcare Institutions in Sarajevo Canton, as well as the Proposal of the Decision granting consent for the establishment of the Scientific Research Institute for Biomedical Engineering, Medical Devices and Artificial Intelligence Verification Laboratory "Verlab" Sarajevo will also be part of the agenda of this session.

Assembly members will also vote on the new Rules of Procedure of the KS Assembly, as well as on decisions regarding street names in the municipality of Stari Grad.

The Assembly will also consider drafts of 10 contracts for the purchase and sale of real estate in residential buildings constructed through cantonal housing funds.

The Proposal of the Decision on Adopting the "Energy Needs Balance of Sarajevo Canton for 2021" is one of the items on the announced session.

The reporting part of the session includes reports on the past year's operations of the companies Toplane, Vodovod i kanalizacija, Sarajevogas, General Hospital "Prim. dr. Abdulah Nakaš", the Ombudsman's Office of Sarajevo Canton, the Public Institution Cantonal Institute for the Protection of Cultural, Historical and Natural Heritage of Sarajevo, the Cantonal Inspectorate Administration, the Cantonal Institute for Providing Free Legal Aid, the "IKRE" Fund, and the Public Institution for Protected Natural Areas.

The Report on the Execution of Sanctions in Sarajevo Canton for 2020, the Report on the State of Management, and the Report on the Work of the Independent Board for the period March-September 2021 will be on the agenda of the 44th session of the KS Assembly.

Information on the financial operations of public institutions in the field of preschool, primary, and secondary education for 2020 will be presented to the assembly members.
