Training for Police Officers in the DKPT Implemented

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - In the period from 26 to 28 June 2018, at the headquarters of the Directorate for Coordination of Police Bodies of Bosnia and Herzegovina, in cooperation with the Embassy of the Republic of France in BiH, a tactical training was held, attended by police officers of the Directorate as well as members of the State Investigation and Protection Agency, the Federal Police Administration, and the Ministry of Interior of Sarajevo Canton.

Instructors from the Ministry of Interior of the Republic of France presented the rich experience of the French police regarding public order and peace through theoretical lectures and practical „exercises“.

During this intensive training, fifty police officers from four different agencies had the opportunity to upgrade their existing knowledge and skills. The instructors placed special emphasis on the coordination of police forces in situations requiring joint action and coordination of work among a larger number of agencies. 

Training participants will be able to transfer the acquired knowledge to other colleagues performing tasks in this field, all with the aim of improving the quality of execution of duties and tasks.

Upon completion of the training, a tactical demonstration exercise was held, and certificates were awarded to the training participants.
