(Patria) - The anti-Bosnian coalition is increasingly exploiting the difficult situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the world caused by the coronavirus pandemic. Thus, the statement by RS Health Minister Alen Šeranić about the citizens of the Federation has caused a series of reactions.
"Alen Šeranić, the health minister of the smaller Bosnian-Herzegovinian entity, has joined the continuous anti-Bosnian campaign that does not subside even in the conditions of the coronavirus pandemic. With his anti-Bosnian statement, Minister Šeranić fits into the concept of Greater Serbian ideology, politics, and practice which aims to create a Greater Serbia at the expense of the division and destruction of the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The minister should know that the time of Greater Serbian supremacy and the imposition of 'truths' which are, in fact, the most ordinary deceptions and lies, has passed. Only citizens of the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina have citizenship. Entities are just spatial units of the unified Bosnian-Herzegovinian state. Instead of taking care of the health of citizens and the people, Šeranić is using his ministerial position to try to consolidate the borders of the smaller Bosnian-Herzegovinian entity, which was actually created by legalizing the results of aggression and genocide against the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
He and all those like him should know that Bosnia and Herzegovina has remained a state throughout its long history. This can no longer be changed. What can and will be changed are the entities. Bosnia and Herzegovina has witnessed for centuries that it is possible to live in peace without state-like entities with diversity, and this seems to bother the minister too.
Just as patriots in and outside Bosnia and Herzegovina managed to oppose the aggressors, they will also oppose him and others today who are earning handsomely by working against their own country. Šeranić should count on those who will not give up their Bosnian-Herzegovinian citizenship and thus Bosnia and Herzegovina, its history, culture, tradition, language, its sovereignty, territorial integrity, political subjectivity, statehood, and independence.
We most sharply condemn the statement of Minister Šeranić and demand his apology to the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina and its loyal citizens," stated the Institute for Research of Genocide Canada.
