Reactions to Croatian President's arrival in Mostar: Stop Milanović, this is not 1993!

(Patria) - Zoran Milanović announced that he is coming to mark the thirtieth anniversary of the HVO. What is the message of this festival?, asks Mirsad Hadžikadić, president of the Platform for Progress BiH.

"A paramilitary organization controlled by the military-political leadership of the Republic of Croatia during the war events is being paraded, which often resulted in the HVO turning against its own country.

Deeply believing that the time is ripe for a breakthrough, our fellow citizens, both from Banja Luka and Mostar, deny us and rattle their weapons, putting 'salt in the wounds' of the Bosnian people.

This attempt at negligence must be prevented. State institutions have a constitutional and legal obligation to prevent such manifestations of hatred and fascism," stated Hadžikadić.

We remind you that the spokesperson for the Croatian President Zoran Milanović, Nikola Jelić, announced that the Croatian President will be in Mostar next week.

"In seven days, I will be in Mostar at the HVO's parade, before the sons of Herzegovina and Bosnia, on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of its formation. We are two countries, we respect others, but in the war, we were one. Whoever does not recognize or see this, does not see or does not want to see," Jelić relayed Milanović's words on Twitter.
